KeyStone Center offers inpatient programs for adults ages 18 and older.
Our Adult Inpatient Program is rooted in evidence-based methodologies to address early recovery, relapse prevention and co-occurring disorders. We acknowledge that treatment is molded through a variety of formal and informal interactions and are consistently attending to our practices to ensure that they are trauma-informed, patient-centric and effective.
We recognize the significance of the mind-body-spirit connection and this reinforces our focus on wellness in all aspects of an individual’s well-being. In addition, we strive toward building a sense of community within the context of treatment, while providing critical bridges to support the recovery community.
The KeyStone Center Extended Care Unit is a competency-based program that utilizes patients’ strengths in order to promote recovery from sexually compulsive behavior and trauma. Our staff consists of a multidisciplinary team who incorporates the 12 steps, a family systems perspective, education, and a trauma-based focus.
The KeyStone Center has worked with experts in the field to develop a Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) program, modified specifically to this treatment setting. It provides individuals a solid immersion in the foundational skill of DBT and connects them to more traditional DBT programs in the community. In this setting our focus is on teaching individuals to tolerate distressing emotions, without engaging in behaviors which ultimately lead to larger negative consequences and reinforce shame, manage their emotions with increased skill, develop skills to build and maintain relationships with health boundaries and ultimately to define goals that increase their joy of living.
