We sincerely hope that your stay here is comfortable and productive. To do everything possible to ensure the safety of our patients, staff and visitors, and maintain our treatment philosophy, it is necessary to prohibit the use of certain items (referred to as contraband) from being brought into the KeyStone Center’s property.
You are asked not to bring the following items. Any contraband you do attempt to bring onto the facility will be immediately collected, confiscated, stored or disposed of by staff. Any illegal substances or alcoholic beverages found on your position will be destroyed immediately. Any weapons or potentially harmful items will be turned over to the Chester Police Department.
Some contraband items known as “controlled items” will be issued to you on a limited basis. Prescription and over the counter medications will be turned over to the Nursing Department and kept in the Medication Room. All other contraband items will be stored for you and will not be available during your stay. All items will be returned to you upon discharge from our facility.
The following is a list of many, but not all of the contraband items which you must not bring to the KeyStone Center and will not be permitted to use if you do bring them. If you have any questions about an item which is not on the list, please check with staff.
