Freedom Program
Our intensive inpatient program helps you recover from addiction to drugs and/or alcohol so you can thrive.
Addiction is a serious and chronic disease that can significantly affect your health, relationships, work and quality of life. But with the right care and support, you can recover. At KeyStone Center, you gain the tools you need to stop using drugs and/or alcohol. Our goal is to help you recover from addiction and create a life of sober living that lasts.
The Freedom Program, for adults 18 and older, typically lasts 30 days. You may be stepping down from our Detox Program or coming to the program on your own.
Inpatient Rehab at KeyStone Center: Why Choose Us?
Whether you’ve had addiction treatment before or you’re entering a program for the first time, we can help you change problematic behaviors so you can thrive.
Highlights of our program include:
- Skilled care providers: Our staff includes therapists with training in co-occurring disorders, such as mental health issues. We also have psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, medical doctors and an aftercare specialist, who offers support following your treatment. Your providers have years of experience in treating addiction disorders.
- Evidence-based treatment: We use evidence-based therapies to aid in your recovery. These treatments are grounded in research and our clinical knowledge.
- Small groups: Group therapy is crucial to your recovery. We keep these groups small, with approximately 10 people, so you can get the support and attention you need.
- Structured environment: You have individual therapy, group therapy, community meetings and psychoeducation groups throughout the day. A structured schedule helps you focus on healing.
- Spirituality: You may feel spiritually bankrupt and empty. We help you restore your relationship with yourself, others and your higher power so you can move forward.
- Gambling recovery: Within the Freedom Program, we offer a specialized gambling track for people experiencing gambling addiction. You receive individual and group therapy from certified gambling counselors.
Therapeutic Treatments We Provide
Every person’s recovery journey is different. Our inpatient program tailors treatment to your needs. Some of the treatments we provide include:
- Motivational interviewing: This conversational therapeutic approach focuses on helping you explore your reasons for wanting to change.
- Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT): Also known as talk therapy or psychotherapy, CBT helps you become aware of your thoughts and feeling so you can respond to challenges better.
- Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT): A type of talk therapy, DBT helps you accept the reality of your life and learn to change behaviors that aren’t serving you. It can also help you manage your emotions.
- Experiential therapy: This may include art therapy, music therapy and role-playing to help you process difficult emotions and experiences.
- Family therapy: Addiction becomes a family system issue, so family therapy is an important part of the healing process. You and your family members meet with a therapist to learn how to resolve conflicts and improve your relationships. Download our family therapy guide here. - Yoga: We offer trauma-informed yoga twice a week to help you feel more grounded and balanced.
